Thanks so much! From what era?
Perfect for Halloween!
It is obvious that belongs to the era of the Safavid, mostly in the last century of his reign (XXVIII century).
Please read more History.
RW Jan, that spike on the hood could come handy in combating the mulllahs - it could simply pareh pooreh their mahtat easily....!? Don't you think so?
All the post Islam Persian armor have their origins in the Sassanid style aromor. They're virtualy identical, with the exception of the addition of the Islamic mumbo jumbo on the forehead. That armor was one of the last things that we invented....before we exchganed our sense of curiosity for Islam's dark supersition. Thanks for sharing.
Dear AO
A lot of nations do NOT even know what islam is and they are even worth than us. I just can not understand why users on this site who claim to be intellectual, keep relating our social or cultural problems to religion. That is not how informed and educated people show see problems.
Thank you RedWine.
Dear A.O, I will put later that Sassanid Persian Armor :)
