آریا تابنده پور (م.۱۳۶۴، تهران) در خلق اثر هنری رویکردی تجربی دارد. آثارش که عموما به صورت مجموعه ارائه شده اند، قطعاتی مستقل و جدا از هم نیستند: آنها را باید در بستر کلی فعالیت او و در ارتباط با آثار دیگرش درک کرد. او در فعالیت خود همواره به حلقه ی رابط بین ابزار عکاسی و سوژه هایش توجه میکند. تابنده پور در تهران زندگی و کار میکند.

Mohsen Gallery: Arya Tabandehpoor (b. 1985, Tehran, Iran) is consistently experimental in his approach to making art. His works, mainly presented in series, are not stand-alone pieces: they are to be perceived in connection to the larger context of his whole body of work.

About "Sleeps" collection he writes: "In the beginning of this project I took photos from the place of sleeping and its environs. After a few photos I shifted my concentration to the position of sleeping. I had no idea of high time exposure in color film and digital camera. Using Camera remote control and time lapse I found the sleep time of the individuals for photo exposure. I regulated light by a warmer candle. After setting the camera and digital declencheur I left the scene. Individuals used to activate the shutter and photos were taken in my absence. The photos were quite different from what I saw in reality.  Such a change was a big factor in pushing me forward to continue. I was very eager to see what was real and what was registered in the photo."
