Headline: At least 153 dead after reported strike on school, Iran says

Over the weekend, girls arrived at school in Iran ready to learn. But then the missile attack hit without warning, and now bodies, schoolbags, and textbooks are still being pulled from the rubble.

Trump’s war is not only immoral and illegal, it’s bankrupting our hopes for a fair economy. While Congress slashes funding for health care, schools, and food for families, Trump is blank-checking a new Middle East war with OUR tax dollars.

We know how disastrous endless wars can be – $6 trillion spent on Iraq and Afghanistan, thousands of American lives lost, millions of civilians killed or displaced, communities shattered at home and abroad. And now, instead of listening to the American people, Trump is threatening more bloodshed, more deployments, more funerals.

Enough. Our Revolution has endorsed the bipartisan Khanna-Massie Iran war powers resolution, which would halt Trump’s ability to use military force in Iran without congressional authorization. The vote in both the House and the Senate will happen THIS WEEK. But the resolutions won’t pass unless Congress feels a tidal wave of outrage from the people.

If we stay silent, Trump will get away with dragging us deeper into war.
