My pick is Spain. They look ready and have many experienced players. They will face Germany in the semifinals.

He/She was rooting for BiBi's team until he/she realized that they did not qualify for the World Cup. He then started rooting for Bin Salman's team.

It was actually me. I voted for Germany, and I guess I was wrong. I went by past perfromance. Although in my defense, they didn't have their best striker (IMO) Mario Gotze. At least I didn't see him. Was he playing this year?

Ok, I admit I voted for Argentina but I had no idea they were in such a disarray.  I did learn my lesson though and to make every one feel good,  I have decided from now on to support Israel’s national team and their quest to be in  the next world cup!  The only thing is, since the next world cup is in Qatar, will or can Israel show up if they qualify?  or would they need Fred and affiliates to ask U.S senate to impose air tight sanctions on Qatar?

Israel is not good enough to qualify for the World Cup in the current 32-team format. But even when in 2026 when the format changes to 48 teams, and the number of European qualifying teams goes up from 13 to 16, there are still some very good teams that will qualify ahead of Israel.

I believe the final match will be between France and Croatia. We'll see.
