“Evidence in the case, including the medical examiner’s report highlighting the presence of a tranquilizer in a glass of juice found at the crime scene, possibly intended use in the immobilization and sexual assault the defendant, raises serious questions as to whether or not factors eminently relevant to the case were considered in the court’s judgment and sentencing of this young woman,” Mr. Shaheed said.

“If her allegations are true, Ms. Jabbari may have been doubly victimized; first by her attacker, and then by the judicial system, which is supposed to protect victims of intended and actual sexual and physical assault,” the expert stressed. “Sexual violence, often directed against women, must always be fought in all of its forms.”

Reyhaneh was a she and according to law, considered half-human being.

Reyhaneh had defended herself from a sexual assault. According to the mindset of the Islamist fascists, she is at fault for tempting the rapist.

Reyhaneh was to be hanged, no matter the circumstances and facts of the case, because the rapist, Morteza Sarbandi, was an employee of the infamous Ministry of Intelligence.

In other words; as Reyhane’s mother said yesterday after her execution to passing girls in the street:

“Girls, be carful, if they try to rape you, let them do it, otherwise, you will be dealt with like this. Your mother will age prematurely, you father will be crushed, and then they’ll kill you.”
