Those who curse or use violent, misogynistic language in the name of Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi are doing a great disservice to him and to the entire freedom movement. Stop it.

He has said this himself. You’re embarrassing Iranians in the eyes of the international community, eroding their confidence in us.

Our brothers and sisters in Iran who have made the ultimate sacrifice deserve better.

Much of this divide and conquer behavior is instigated and carefully orchestrated by the regime, but it is sometimes amplified by real opposition activists who mistakenly think it will earn them favor. It does the opposite. It pushes our allies, Western politicians, policymakers, and journalists, to want to distance themselves from our cause.

The purity tests, demanding people chant certain slogans or be labeled traitors or enemies, are also harmful.

Anything that divides us makes us weaker. You might win small battles in the short term by backing only one faction or personality, but the long game is winning the war, building a free, secular, democratic Iran.

That takes a whole nation, in all its diversity, standing together against our common tyrant and the IRGC mafia. Monarchists, republicans, secularists, religious dissidents, and all of Iran’s diverse ethnic communities must be able to speak and organize without fear of labels or threats of physical harm.

Healthy democracies embrace this plurality, where debate and constructive criticism are encouraged. No political figure, no ideology, and no group can achieve this alone.

The transition we seek will only be peaceful, stable, and durable if it reflects the society we want to create, pluralistic, tolerant, and united in its diversity.

Our real enemy is tyranny and the networks of repression behind it, not one another.
