What has crystallized around all this pseudo opposition have been dubious characters like Mr. Etamadi and others who became bedfellows with influential diaspora community 

including it's media personalities who prior to all this Pro Green highjacking were for the most part monarchists.

I had no idea of who Mr. Etemadi was prior to learning about his Pro Separatist views

and I was surprised to see that someone like Raha Etamadi's father was actually anti Monarchy

His addressing the heir to the peacock throne Aghayeh Reza Pahlavi 

which is typical of most anti monarchist Iranians .

RP made that even easier when he self proclaimed himself Shahrvand.

As for Meibody who called the Children of Cyrus who bravely shouted Ma Aryaee Hasteem Arab Nameeparastim "Fascists"

He is clearly a Bazari who like many of these cheap LA TV's were to harm the monarchist movement more than anybody else.

That the IRI TV's then try to capitalize on these leaks on Manoto is not surprising

All these Diaspora TV's are running after one thing and one thing only:

MONEY !

Follow the Money and you will know who is who ...

The rest is conspiracy theories and nothing else

But don't count on Diaspora TV's including Manoto TV to be anything else but money making machines.

They will be Monarchist when it is trendy and separatists another day ...

I am diasspointed by learning about Raha Etemadi's father

I was quite fond of the Bebin TV staff and creative crew with whom I worked for years ago 

prior to MANOTO

The programs were aimed at Diaspora and dual nationals like me

I saw it as a model for what could have been a wonderful platform of cultural resistence to the Islamic Republic apologists and NIAC 

Alas NIAC has done much better in turning their Pro IRI views not only popular amongst the Diaspora but worse make it mainstream thanks to the likes of Reza Aslan and Houman MAjd who now are on CNN with their own programs on Religious : Believer 

Where Manoto could have become an Crown Jewel of Cultural Resistance to the islamic republic and trouble the likes of TRita Parsi and his cohorts of suave speaking and westernized Apologists instead it became what any money making machine tv becomes:

A Company which will bend to what the public wants.

A clear example is how MANOTO TV ended up doing a revisionist program on Fereidoun Farrokhzad which as a disgrace to that great man's memory . 

Knowing Kayvan Abbasi's pro Monarchist views at the time I was surprised to see Raha Etemadi turn that program into something else than what it was intended to be with the interviews of the likes of Shahin Najafi and other Anti Monarchists to speak on the man's legacy>

That is when my suspicions on the new editorial shifts in MANOTO started to surprise me and catch my attention.

Manoto since has been surfing on the same type of audience as BBC Persian

Recruiting all these young generation Iranians who left or leave Iran regularly and formatting them to fit the needs of their audiences both inside and outside Iran.

Despite their history programs made on the Shah or interviews or documentaries on the Shahbanou

Manoto followed the same disingenuous half baked Monarchist support

which is anything but a pro monarchy narrative but rather fits Shahrvand Reza's double standards

of mixing so many contradictory ideological families which have done nothing but destroy whatever relevance the monarchist movement could have had.

The Public Manoto TV adresses wants Anti Monarchist narratives of the likes NIAC has successfully made mainstream and Shahrvand Reza's own demeanor has made that even more trendy.

So they are doing just that.

What is however interesting is that these revelations by IRI tv networks on how Bebin TV became Manoto TV .

as well as on the behind the scene negotiations are fairly plausible.

People who have followed the evolution of these networks can easily connect the dots and see some Truth emerge.
