At this moment, the People's Mujahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI) and its National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), Sazeman-e Mujahedin-e Khalq-e Iran in Persian, is having its “Grand Gathering” in Paris.

Many foreign dignitaries have been invited to speak. The Grand Gendering 2016 Facebook continuously posts video clips of the speeches.

One of the speakers was Prince Turki bin Faisal Al Saud. Before serving as that county’s ambassador to Washington and London, he headed Arabia’s intelligence services for number of decades.

At the end of his 27 minute long speech, twice he referred to Madam Maryam Rajavi, who was in the audience, as “Mrs. Maryam Rajavi and your late husband Massoud Rajavi."

To my knowledge, this is the very first time that in a Mujahidin gathering Massoud Rajavi is referred to as the “late Massoud Rajavi”.

Although the Grand Gathering 2016 Facebook posts YouTube videos of all the speeches, it deleted the one by Prince Turki few minutes after it posted it. And it is the only one which cannot be viewed on YouTube getting the “this video is private” message.

Question:

Why the Mujahedin continuously try to keep the fate of their Supreme Leader hidden?

As a major component in the opposition to the unreformable Islamist fascists’ rule in Iran, is this secrecy helping the cause?
