In November 2017, an Iranian man was kicked off Greyhound bus to Kansas City, Missouri,  despite producing a ticket. Mohammad Reza, the passenger and PH.D candidate,  believed his nationality and name are the only two explanations for the treatment. 
There is a fine line between "Racism" and Racial profiling. Many people use these terminologies in errors. Racial profiling refers to the practice by law enforcement officials of targeting individuals for suspicion of crime based on the individual's race, ethnicity, religion or national origin. However, Racism and racial profiling has been used intertwin in different socio- political contexts in American society.  Racial profiling has long history dating back to the time of slavery. "Negros" were stopped by police officers for any reason for questioning for being lawful or unlawful,   but it was "codified law" in 1950's. 
   After Pearl Harbor attack by Japan, all Japanese were rejected U.S citizenship for fear of disloyalty to America and their commitment to the country of origin Japan.  Over 100,000 Japanese were detained in concentration camp mainly in Angel Island (citizen and non citizens)  based on racial profiling.
    In Europe they use the term "ethnic profiling" instead of "Racial profiling". 
  
 
    In 2012, After Syrian war, large population of Syrian immigrated to Germany. There has been a first court ruling concerning racial profiling in German police policy. It had at first been declared legal for police to make skin color and "non-German ethnic origin" criteria for the selection of persons who will be asked for identification in spot-checks for illegal immigrants
     In Israel, they use the term "human factor" instead of racial profiling. In that, Israeli security officers interrogate travelers using racial profiling, singling out those who appear to be arab based on name or physical appearance.Additionally, all passengers, including those who do not appear to be of Arab descent, are questioned as to why they are traveling to Israel, followed by several general questions about the trip in order to search for inconsistencies.
     In Canada, The study showed that black skinned people were 3.7 times more likely to be pulled over by police than white skinned people, while Asian people were less likely to be pulled over than whites or blacks.
Racial profiling in Spain is widespread and common practice by police officers. Police officers are allowed to stop anyone who don't look like caucaisin and ask them weather they're legal or  illgal. On streets in Spain, none-white people stop by the police 10 times more than caucasians. 
 
 Racial profiling was used to detect the criminal activities up to Sept. 11, 2001. After 9/11 attack, the target group changed from criminals to terrorism. 9/11 attack have led to targeting of some Muslims and Middle Easterners as potential terrorists and, accordingly  to some, are targeted by the national government through preventive measure similar to those practiced by local law enforcement. One of the techniques used by the FBI to target Muslims was monitoring 100 mosques and businesses in Washington D.C.
Supporters of racial profiling say that the practice is both efficient and ideal due to utilizing the law of possibility  in order to determine one's criminal activity. This system focuses on controlling crime with swift judgment, bestowing full discretion on police to handle what they perceive as a threat to society. On the other hand, the critics are saying it is Unconstitutional, but supporters say it matches to forth amendment of constitution to protect U.S citizen lives when it is in danger.According to a 2011 survey by Rasmussen Reports, a majority of Americans support profiling as necessary "in today's society".
 
In case of finding criminals based on their race, ethnicity group or religion , The study of 572 university students shows pros and cons are equally 50/50, but it is over 80% in favor of racial profiling once it comes to international terrorism or check points at the airports. Overwhelming majority of American support racial profiling for their safety and security. 
Racial profiling about Iranians will be changed once ruling criminal mullahs get toppled from the power in Iran.
