You got this one right spot on. This "Nuclear deal" has it's rootes firmly in deep concerns of a small, but fabulously rich Islamist mafia -Rafsanjani clan in charge of them- about the flow of oil revenue into their swiss/London bank accounts drying up as the result of sanctions. The other concern for this despicable terroristic Islamist mafia is of course a general, bloody popular uprising in Iran against them. That is why they are in such a rush to come up with a deal with US ASAP.

But go easy on Zarif, Rouhany, Hooman Majd, Trita parsi, and co. These are merely the faithful lap poodles doing their jobs in return for a nice commission....
