Jahanshah 's Recent Quotes
No one remembers how the war starts. Not really. Historians unearth parchments after the fact: they came to barter but stole the king's daughter. Someone shot some duke. Some Army massacred some unarmed minority. But what we do remember is demise. Suicides underground when you used to roam in an eagle's nest. The president, bearded, found in a hole. The rebel leader dumped at sea. No shortages of ends. And the mess that ensues. And the winners making the rules all the way to the bank.

Human Rights Watch believes that the cumulative impact of authorities’ decades-long systematic repression is an intentional and severe deprivation of Baha’is’ fundamental rights and amounts to the crime against humanity of persecution.

Regime Change is at the hand of Iranian people and it's not Jahanshah or a middle east scholar that will do it. In the meantime, 'choke to compliance' is the US policy and as Trump said, there is no 'exit strategy' . Time is on US side. Limited retaliation will not lead to an all out war [except in the mind of those who never wanted a regime change and will never fight!] So patience honey, patience!
Here we go again, with this "change from within" ideal scenario.
And once again we are being spared by the details that the process would entail. Forget about the How , and the When...Just focus on the fact that anything from Outside would Most definitely result in what we see in Iraq or Afghanistan.
Can you "change from Inside" rs...Guarantee that thing will be calm and quiet after all the "democratic" and people-based transformation?
Most people don't realize that perhaps it is not yet time for powers that be............to change the regime. The more rhetoric, the more chaos, the more regional conflicts, the more you sell weapons. People believe humans have learned their lesson after WWII, but all they have done is turned World War into regional conflicts through the installation of despotic regimes and blood thirsty tyrants.
The rest is ZERRRRRRRRRRRRR!
I support Trump stance on Iran. I support 12 demands of Pompeo. Don't you? Don't Iranians do?
No, it doesn’t contain human rights and democracy and all the crap writers are writing about round the clock. Because -beside their convoluted meanings- it’s not in the US power to instal. What matters here really, is that regime change or not, democracy or not peace or war, Iranian will “own” their destiny this time around. They assume responsibility for what become of them.
What "mutual disaster" for god's sake?... the only problem would be a yet another wave of refugees flooding Europe... that is not a "disaster"...
Benross
On what planet do you think you are living? no seriously....I might consider moving there and buy a house or something.
'Own" their destiny! Ya right. Over Superpowers' dead f....bodies
LOOOOL.
Not sure we are talking about the same thing. By 'owning' I don't mean liking or disliking. I mean 'owning'. For more than fifty years we are still fighting over a mediocre character like Mossadeq. This means we don't own our history. We don’t take responsibility and we don’t even try to understand it. This is what is going to change.
BTW where is Fred? I hope he’s alright.
