Supreme Leader Says: "Iran and U.S are still enemies"......... A word of advise for the Supreme A$$hole; when you make a deal through negotiations it means you are agreeing to certain protocols and behavior, and you don't say the same old rhetoric and you don't call for the other side's destruction and sending them death wishes slogans.

Baba it's Norooz. NO-ROOOOZ! :)
As far as I know since in English names can be spelled in different ways it does not matter how it is written HOWEVER I do agree for the sake of unity and continuation of this historic celebration maybe we should agree to a unified spelling.
Happy Norooz/Noruz/Norouz
I cannot believe we are still going on about this nonsense. Why do we have to impose Persian terms on the hapless foreigners? What is wrong with the Iranian New Year?
Whoever decided to correct Shia into Shiite turned the religion of my birth into Shite or shit. Did that not teach us anything?
it is so sad to see The Iranian has sunk so low that feature articles are on this subject.
I do remember a lengthy blog followed by a plethora of comments on this very subject on old IC. It doesn't surprise me a bit that we're still stuck on it! How about Новруз ? :))
NoRooz is a great indication that no two Iranians can agree on anything!
Happy new Persian year to Khar et al.
Getting past the dizziness and relevancy of the subject at hand and regardless of its English spelling, Happy Persian New Year to One and All !! Call it whatever you wish but it can’t not solely be called "Iranian New Year" since it is celebrated all over the region from Iraq to Tajikistan and from Turkey to India, Pakistan and Afghanistan.
Jahanshah va Asdolah, Norooz-etan Shaad o Mobarak!
Regarding Persian/Iranian it doesn't make any difference to the newly fashioned tribalism as these countries whether they like or not once were part of the Greater Iran or what the archeologists call Iran Exterior. Azeris will never accept it anyway giving you a thousand reasons why it is purely Azeri. Let's stand up to this tribalist nonsense. Now they are inventing a new language name for themselves called Dari which hides the depth of ignorance as modern Persian anywhere is Dari Persian.
BTW you should see the wierdos in the other place arguing about turning the No into Know. Talk about having an inflated view of yourself/ourselves. 30 odd fucking years of Akhoondary and the diaspora is pre-occupied with this?
