Amnesty International:

Thousands of Iranians are facing execution. Take action today to prevent the bloodshed.

At the end of last year people across Iran, outraged at decades of repression, took to the streets demanding fundamental change and a political system that respects human rights and dignity. Those displays of extraordinary courage were met with a hail of bullets.

At least 3,000 people have been killed, but the real number is likely much higher.

The UN Special Rapporteur on Iran stated that as many as 20,000 people had died.

Thousands more are imprisoned and facing execution, charged with “betraying their country”.
