Waging an armed struggle may very well be the right of these folks but considering the devastating consequences and giving the IRI even more reason to get even more vigilant and haunt them down , it is not the right solution.

My question was more from morale perspective point of view.

The past 38 years' experience of living under the rule of IRI  has taught us all that this Fascist regime guided by most reactionary ideology of Shia Islam does not need any excuses to murder, torture and execute. They murder first then look for an excuse. The mass murder of tens of thousands of Iranian political prisoners in summer of 1988 is a prime example.

On the other hand, the experince of heroic resistance and final victory of Kurdish syrians  over ISIS in Kobane  is the proof that under right conditions these Islamist fascists can be defeated by the forces of progress, secularism and liberty.

I guess you have the proof for the scenario you  described, and did not just make it up.....

But since you brought this up and since I know you are a big fan of America and American values, I need to point out to you that the victory of Americans over British in their war of independence would not have been possible without material and political support of France.

In the end of the day, the freedom of Iran from Islamist fascism can only be achieved  by Iranians themselves. But Iranians have every right to make the right alliances to achieve this victory.

There’s nothing wrong with the legitimate Iranian opposition, both inside and outside of Iran ask for and receive political and other types of support from the civilized world. But what these chicken hawks and 7x24 BiBi Maccabis want is an outright US invasion under the cover of enforcing crippling sanctions/no-fly-zones/looking for nukes, etc.

As I have said before, Iran is not Iraq or Syria and Reza Palabi is not Ahmed Chalabi!

RIght conditions??? Do you not think that after 38 years!! the iranian people would have found an excuse to take a few steps to end things? Was there not at least an smidge of a moment where they could say...hey how about now?

I realize that there are  always some misguided buffoons who think that people out there actually support a millitary invasion or something like,  not sure what kinda crap they are smoking, and

I hope to god almighty that i am wrong, But based on all the evidence and images witnessed through the media, I for one believe that  Iranians are happy with what they have, it is all good so long as they get to maintain the status quo.

Talking to parents in iran, reminds me of the time when i was back there watching my parents worry about my future. They were not ready to wage a war, neither are today's parents. look at all the tourists that flood the streets of major cities in iran. Look at all the money they are pouring into the cofers of the government.
