I like to get e-mail notifications on responses and 'likes' as currently there is no such feature as I am aware of.
This site is far superior to the Iranian.com.
brother E.T.
There is always room for improvement. But I like iroon as it is. I dont want this site to end up like the other place iranian.com which is now operated and moderated by Ali Khanmenei's ministry of etelaat.
Thank You.
Maybe you should add the following answer as an option;
Some of the users on this site need overhauling.!!!!
Needs a major overhaul, definitely.
But the overhaul is supposed to come from users. Not from outsiders, or from tehnical people running the site. Technical details are irrevelant at this stage, imho.
Hi david. To be fair on jahanshah Javid, he wrote a blog heralding changes to the site format which most of us agreed to. I'd wait and see what these changes are first.
Otherwise I agree with Javad and Bart. I dont want this site to turn into another US based mouthpiece of Islamist regime like iranian.com.
Needs a publisher who "features" material. Right now it is everyone for themselves = BS talks money walks!
aashena joon.Dont know how old you are, but judging by your comments, most probably well into your late fifties but with the mental age of an 8 year old bache akhoond with down syndrome! But when it comes to "BS talks", I assure you that you are the numero uno :)
I think it will qualify for akhoond bi ammameh if it is late fifties, no?
My biggest and only change request is that above all this site needs to be optimized for mobile. I don't really use a laptop anymore. Except to type this in...
As of now 93% of respondents of the English page of the site have asked for changes in the site, majority (2/3) of them requesting major overhaul. 85 % of those who responded in the Persian page also requested changes but they were equally divided between minor change and overhaul. From the responds and comments, we can come to three conclusions: 1. iroon.com needs major changes 2.The readers don't want another Iranian.com 3.When thinking in Persian, we are less demanding than when thinking in English!
Brother E.T.
It is not a question of "thinking" in persian. Some brothers and sisters appear not to be able to read or write in Persian. Perhaps because they only spent only 4 months of their lives in Iran or just because they are not Iranians.
Great survey! So far nobody picked "There is no hope for this site"! Wow, there is hope!
OMG! So many funny comments are on this thread!
