A Good Year to Die ...

After a lifetime passion for the works of the English Bard, Cyrus Ghani, author of many books in the fields of entertainment, history and particularly an excellent essay on how Persia and the East inspired Shakepeare's plays has passed away on the very year which will mark the 400th anniversary of the English Bard's death.

As Shakespeare's life and work will be celebrated this year through numerous events and publications. I highly recommend Cyrus Ghani's "Shakespeare, Persia, and the East" published by Mage Publications

After a life dedicated to collecting and studying everything related to his idol Shakespeare, Cyrus Ghani's soul seems to have joined that of the great Bard himself. I am certain Mr Ghani's "eyes in heaven are now twinkling in their spheres" at the sight of his favorite author greeting him at the gates.

May he RIP ...
