He is weak and pathetic at so many levels. He couldn’t beat hope and change president with his mediocre records and  presidency. This was his last shot in a dark and the end of his political career,  unless he changes party become a Democrat and let the media push him to the top with their usual propaganda and admiration.

To think the US once pressured the Shah to get rid of the 1000 Families' geriatrics in favour of young technocrats now the best it can muster are these geriatrics with an inflated view of themselves and/or they are useless bitter old (con)men.  God save us.
