Passage of time and the withering of unjustifiable hatreds make it possible to have a less clouded, clearer picture of events and major players who have shaped history.

Few hours ago in Israel, Shimon Peres passed away at 93. He was one of the founding fathers of the reconstituted Israel, a country which has become the only democracy in the Middle East.

Peres was a keen student of history, as such; he was a steadfast friend of Iran and Iranians.

I firmly believe, after the unreformable, warmongering Islamist fascists -”reformers” and all- are long gone from the scene, and the historic, cultural and strategic alliance of the two great nations of Iran and Israel has brought back security and tranquility to the entire region, Peres will be remembered by Iranians, as well as Israelis, as the peace, Israel and Iran lover that he was.

Sanction works, U.S. Senate, get to it.
