If they are drowning, we are drowning

A child has been washed upon a shore, he laid silent, still, in peace with himself.
His image is a stark recognition that humanity has fallen into a crevice of soul insensitivity
We have all collapsed in the attempt of living soulfully in the planet
How have we ended in this dark place?
How have we decided for the crippling and unfair terrain of not caring
How did we develop this egotistic solitude and build a concept that neighbors are inexistent?
We are dwelling in a state of hate and intolerance.
Greed, forced treaties, unfair timeless agreements, natural resource extraction until depletion,
Devastation, wars, crazy unlimited growth and a lack of respect for all life forms are the only way.
Humans are the challenging ignorant, the arrogant whose breadth of love is as narrow as dry pine needles.
Their disastrous behavior has led to the 6th massive extinction, a delirious course to climate change
And have spurred the beginning of forced massive human migrations and refugees.
They escape in search for better grounds to prosper but this is only the beginning
Climate change will ignite mayor displacements and the environmental forced diaspora will be soon here
Mother Nature will be the final equalizer, uprooting towns, forcing cultures to bond, pushing tolerance and a respect for life as a whole.
Moreover, envy and distress are a deadly mix and the will to live has shown no limits.
In this blatant scenario our civilization will have to share or bust, the time for empathy has arrived
Hence, nobody is superior and all life forms have the same rights to live
So raise consciousness, live in peace, humans have to aware that they need to be humans
Please sensitize, have fear and a feel for what is going to come
Become loyal to life and all life forms in the planet by not giving a death kiss to life,
Let’s give us and the planet opportunity to thrive
Listen; pay attention: “If they are drowning, we are all drowning”.
So take a deep breath and brace yourselves and hope that our saving shores are at reach
Let this child shake our hearts, so we take the right path.
