This is the latest mass action against hejaab: pose hejaab-less, take a snap shot and publish it on the net!

The underlying message these women are sending is clear: the Iranian regime is degrading us, violating us, humiliating us and this is how we respond; this is how we fight back! It’s hard to believe how impotent, how powerless women’s decent in Iran has become! One has to first accept the status quo as normal to be able to manifest decent in such timid and petty way.

These hejaab-less ladies do not aim at exerting their will by strength but by cautious and safe subversion; a ‘subversion’ imposed on them by the very forces they are fighting against! In order to keep the slave away from depression, the master always leaves some room for him to revolt, as long as it is safe, and inconsequential.

The darkness of political tyranny develops in silence. One resists the darkness by breaking the silence. And one breaks the silence by producing voice. Here, it seems to me, that the voice is merely producing more silence!
