Turban

Oh turban!
Who put you
On the head of that man?

You’re not more than
A piece of cloth
And yet,
He sees in you
His divine state.

I will remove you
From his head
And give you to mourning mothers
So that they can wipe
Their tears.

ای دستار!
چه كسی ترا
بر سر او گذاشت؟

يك تكه پارچه
بيش نيستی
و با اين همه، او
ولايتِ خود را
در تو می‌بيند.

من ترا
از سر او برخواهم داشت
و به مادران داغدار خواهم داد
تا اشگهايشان را پاك كنند.
