These days coincide with the 40th anniversary of the disastrous Revolution in Iran. A revolution that overthrew the Mohammad Reza Shah- the autocratic and yet progressive Pahlavi monarchy - replacing it with the tyranny of the unreformable, warmongering and uber-misogynistic Islamist fascism in Iran.

These days Iranians, including many former participants in the 79 revolution, lament the ongoing general misery and unbelievable brutality at the hands of the Islamist fascists. There are also those who attack Iranians as a whole for participating in the disastrous revolution and cooperating with the Islamist fascists.

Yes, there are political prostitutes, those with financial stake and the shameless lefties stuck in debunked ideologies that in one way or another defend the Islamist fascist tyranny.

However, lets not forget there has not been a single day in the past forty years when Iranians have not bravely opposed this Islamist fascist tyranny, the cemeteries and archipelago of Islamist fascists’’ dungeons are filled to the brim with brave Iranians seeking freedom and democracy.

In other words; one must be in awe and proud of Iranians risking life and limb in perpetually seeking freedom and democracy in the past forty years.

Iranians deserve freedom, prosperity and happiness, it is not a matter of if, rather when.

Airtight sanctions - which includes oil - a la against the despicable South Africa apartheid, works. U.S. lawmakers get to it.
