Amir Zargara, an Iranian-Canadian writer, director, and producer, brings a distinct perspective to the cinematic world, shaped by the cultural richness of Iran and Canada. His recent work includes the Utah Film Festival official selection A Good Day Will Come, as well as the upcoming films It Comes in Waves and Ballerina Boy.

Amir began his journey in 2021 with Become the Wounded, and his prolific career has since spanned feature films, short films, commercials, music videos, and documentaries. With over 30 awards and 100 festival screenings, including at prestigious Oscar-qualifying events like Austin, Raindance, and Santa Barbara, Amir’s work resonates globally.

Known for his deeply human storytelling, Amir's films explore moral complexities and advocate empathy over judgment, a reflection of his life experiences as an immigrant and individual living with a stutter. His dedication to nuanced narratives shines through his award-winning projects.
