USCPR Action:
UPDATE: ACTIVISTS NEED PROTECTION ABOARD THE GLOBAL SUMUD FLOTILLA
As the Global Sumud Flotilla carries desperately needed humanitarian aid across the Mediterranean to Palestinians trapped in Gaza, dozens of U.S. citizens aboard these boats are risking their lives to break Israel's brutal blockade. Named "Sumud" (Arabic for resilience), this flotilla represents global solidarity refusing to stand by while 2 million Palestinian people face forced starvation and genocide.
Israel has already attacked these boats twice -- striking the main ship Family while docked in Tunisia and attacking the boat Alma this week. These were calculated attempts to intimidate global citizens working to stop Israel's war crimes.
But the flotilla sailed anyway, carrying prominent figures like climate campaigner Greta Thunberg, Irish actor Liam Cunningham, and Italian parliament members who refuse to look away while Israel commits war crimes daily.
Take action to demand your representatives protect its citizens and demand Israel allow humanitarian aid into Gaza.

Today I received a lengthy response from Senator Adam Schiff to my letter which I sent him this response:
Dear Senator Schiff,
Thanks for your reply. There was a time when I admired you because you let the fight against Trump but not any more. As it is clear in your response your point of view is not universal human rights rather religious fundamentalism. What happened to that universalism which inspired great Jewish liberal thinkers from Spinoza to Hannah Arendt to fight for humanity? I am sorry to say that you are complicit in genocide in Gaza with religious fundamentalists running Israeli government today.
respectfully,
Majid
