Tehran Governor Warns Crisis Not Over After 12-Day Iran-Israel War

IranWire: Tehran’s governor has warned that government agencies should not look at the current situation as the end of the crisis and must remain on high alert following the 12-day war between Iran and Israel.

Mohammad Sadegh Motamedian told the provincial crisis committee that authorities should assume “the crisis is still ongoing and the current situation is only a temporary calm, not a return to normal conditions.”

The meeting focused on reviewing measures taken during the Iran-Israel war, which ended with a fragile ceasefire.

Motamedian said the rapid response of emergency teams and the effective presence of service personnel in the initial hours of the attacks saved lives and helped prevent a higher number of casualties.

However, provincial authorities have yet to release any official data on damage to Tehran’s infrastructure or civilian casualties.

The governor urged all relevant agencies to remain fully prepared for the possibility of future crises.
