He always recognized Iranian people from IR. Everyone remembers how Erdoghan barked at him at Davos, while he was graciously trying to debate the troglodyte. Now he finds Israel as his ally, so will Iran.
God bless Shimon Peres!
Calling Israel a democracy is utterly unjustifiable...democracy without the minority rights is meaningless...Short and simple...Kosher too...
razi jooooon, are you one of those re, I say reformists who beat their chest for the Pals? Is the islamist regime really high up on minority rights, cause they claim to be democratic.... You people have no shame, do you?
What shame? This guy (same old Mini with a new ID) still supports the Stalin genocidal rule, why would he care about human rights in Iran or Israel? And that's for a few minority rights?
Instead, he has ONE big fear that has become his leitmotif, pestering him moment to moment: Israel and its military power, which he knows are undefeatable.
Undefeatable? Not so...the 33-day war with Hezbollah is only one example... Let me add that the Evin prison is a constant reminder of the historical alliance between the late Shah and filthy anti-Jewish Zionists... Don't forget that the Great Revolution is the direct result of His Majesty's doctrine of Evinism/Rastakhism...Something like that...
Actually let's take that war. No one scores anybody for fariness in wars. Israel destroyed half of Lebanon in order to defeat Hezbollah militarily and push them back for its own safety. And on one in Arab world gave a rat's ass about that and the civilian casualties.
For the democracy Israel is, they then replaced all military and civil officials who caused the prolonging of that war. The next one happened in Ghaza, which was rather short. That's why ther are a winner.
Israel has more allies in the Arab world than Hamas and Hezbollah do. Go wage your anti-semite hysteria somewhere else. And your other pain in the rear, ex shah, was not even the topic here.
It is the topic in the blog. Fredie&Co. Keeps repeating that nonsense. And thanks for confirming Israel's war crimes in Lebanon and elsewhere...The reaction to human casualties in the Arab world or lack thereof is off topic.
Off topic? So is shah, but you can't seem to have peace with a dead person. As for war crimes, Asad has killed more than 300,000 of his own people. Israel never does that. What's good for the goose is good for the gander.
This world is much more at peace with Israel than it is with Iran and Syria. Thanks in part to their stupid lobbies like you. Actually, Israeli Arabs enjoy a better and freer life than any other Arabs in the ME.
Shah was mentioned for what Fredie&Co. Falsely calls historic alliance between Iran and Israel... Where does Assad fit in here?... You can't justify Israel's grave crimes by those of someone else's...And I ain't a diehard fan of Assad's, but I just say he beats every alternative and he's a good puppet for us, the iroonis, the real iroonis...we the ones whose roots are in iroon, and only in iroon...
That alliance predates shah and Israel and is here to stay. History has shown all ME dictators already gone to iclude Asad soon, and so will fake iroonis like your regime.
When did I say I was a communist?
You didn't. I'm being facetious there. I don't care/can't do anything about people's affiliation to organizations.
His case is a little complicated. After the Tudeh Party was broken into pieces in the late 80s, the central organization cleared the way for a new platform to condemn the party's policies during the 80s and attribute the wrong strategy (implicitly) at Norredin Kiyanoori.
Then they expelled many, who still believed in the unconditional support of the regime against imperialism and zionism. A few splinter groups (like Edalat) that now only publish a few articles employed those handful disgruntled members. Many years later and all of them into their dottage, they mostly advocate the nuclear armament of the regime in Iran as well as confrontation with Israel.
They avoid public acceptance of comunism, but they highly support the old tradition of the Soviet style central governance. The boundary between a communist and/or a staunch regime supporter with a Soviet style left-learning approach is hard to discern.
He generally gets quiet and gives terse answers when asked about his Tudehi background, which means the questioner hit the nail on the head.
