 Turkey's party is no different than the Christian Democrats in Germany or Austria ... but because it is an islamic party they get a bad press in the west. You guys simply dont want Turkey to be part of Europe and Turkey has become the convenient excuse for the west to put the blame on the rise of ISIS on Erdogan when in fact Turkey has been at the forefront of this battle. It was Obama who did not want to interfere in Syria when Erdogan and the Saudis were both willing to help the FREE SECULAR SYRIAN ARMY ... OBAMA REFUSED ... hence why ISIS came into being. Also Europe and the US want to put the blame on Erdogan because he rightfully refuses an independent Kurdistan ( so would any other Turkish government including Secular ones). The West needs to kurds to fight ISIS on the ground regardless of Turkey's own geo strategic concerns. That is why the West and publications like the Economist or the BBC are spreading such disingenuous anti erdogan propaganda.
