Good question RG jaan.  When it comes to Israel, the IR is the gift that keeps on giving.  It wasn't for the prennial excuse that is the IR, Israel would have been forced to singn a peace agreement with the Palestinians 30 years ago.

Dear roozbeh

Like AO, I think this is a good question.

Unlike many other anti IRI people who think Plestinians benefied most I think Israel had it best.

They could NOT asked for a better political excuse. Not only IRI is an Islamic government but also they get more military suppoert. Yes in fact IRI is a gift for them.

This is go back to a survey I done some times ago, here is the link;

Does this site's format & "editorial policy" allow a fair representation of a broad spectrum of opinions and debates around them for a reasonable length of time?

When the dust settles, Iranians will undoubtedly question the wisdom behind the regime’s nuclear ambitions and “anti-imperialist” rhetoric — especially the staggering costs they’ve imposed on the country’s people and resources. But right now, the deeper outrage lies in the impunity that Trump’s words granted Israel’s war machine to violate Iran’s sovereignty, victimize civilians and dismantle the country’s infrastructure without constraint. —Asef Bayat
