The nobel peace prize this year was delivered to Ales Bialiatski Belarusian pro-democracy activist and prisoner of conscience which he shared with The center for civil liberties.

I've been following Massih Alinejad lately and her vivid brawl with BBC Hard Talk's Stephan Sucker (see below) :

She showed stamina and boldness given her own predicament being on the Islamic Republic's threat list.

I don't share all views expressed by Alinejad ( particularly toward monarchists - I particularly remember her calling the Late Shah was a "big dictator" in an interview with Iran's former Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi ) but my hats off to her courage. I wish her well and may she be able to continue raising awareness on the predicament of Iranians under the current theocratic regime.
