Isfahan's Meydan square is a serene place where children play and veiled women stroll among pools and gardens. The marketplace, bustling from early morning, is surrounded by diverse shops and workshops. The grand Shah Abbas Mosque, built in 1637, stands out with its towering height and ongoing dome repairs, symbolizing the Muslim Renaissance.

But the centuries have taken their toll on the interior and exterior, the stonework and ceramics. That's why today, local craftsmen with precious skills are renovating this ancestral monument.
