Sometimes you end up doing the right thing for the wrong reasons. Sure, altruism or empathy have not shown their faces lately. Expansionism is another form of greed after all. But it is absolutely true that this is the one and only chance to get rid of the mullahs and their deranged, unabashed misuse of power. They value life least of all. No, you can't let that fester.

I'll be switching off of all media. I will not watch the horror show, the Innocent sacrifices or the ugly long aftermath of chaos.

I'll wait for the dread, the same shellshocked eyes that came home after each world war and made men brothers for a short while (until they looked at each other's with suspicion).

Maybe my memories of warm starry nights on a lawn will rekindle from the seventies. Or the thirties. Or each prewar period as far as you go. I'll support whatever that those willing to pay with their lives want. I'll silence my thoughts, cut short my prayers, bury my pacifism in the March garden.
