ISIS-online:

Over the last two to three weeks, Iran has been busy burying the new Taleghan 2 facility at the Parchin military complex with soil.  The facility has been under construction since May 2025, several months after an Israeli air strike in October 2024 destroyed the existing facility. Satellite imagery from February 5, 2026, shows soil being added on top of the concrete sarcophagus; as of February 13, a large part of the facility is covered with soil (see Figure 1).  Still visibly pouring fresh concrete at the end of January, Iran’s course of action means once the concrete sarcophagus around the facility was hardened, Iran did not hesitate to move soil over large parts of the new facility.  More soil is available on the hillside above and the facility may soon become a fully unrecognizable bunker, providing significant protection from aerial strikes. A structure at the front of the facility is still under construction.  Figure 2 provides images of the underlying facility and the concrete sarcophagus.  Figure 3 provides an overview image of the location and shows covered walkways under construction nearby.
