He is a die hard monarchist (but opposed to crown prince Reza Pahlavi). He is rude, he is uncouth and yet he has been speaking passionately against the Islamic Republic for the past 43 years on diaspora tv channels in L.A. before being fired. Some also consider him crazy. Yet regardless of what people think of him one has to admit that in some cases he has been right on the nature of a regime which is now widely considered as unable to reform itself.

In a recent interview with Iran International TV, the presenter Pouria Zeraety admitted that many Iranians back home embrace his violent rhetoric towards the Islamic theocracy.
