Zoroshtian is Iranian religion and the borders of Iran and movement of Iranian tribes and people were not just contained in what's of left of mighty Iran zamin in current state of Iran but a land mass of people and culture stretched all the way from east of china to southern russia and eastern europe. But hey if Turkey can claim molana as a Turk , despite the fact that there is not one word of turkish potery written by him, I wouldn't be surprised if mighty china starts claiming zartosht was chinese too!
Ancient Zoroastrians never burried their dead people in tombs. they left the dead in an open space far from the residential areas so the birds and other animals eat the body and the rest of remainder turned into dust over time. This tradition continud until recently. There are different claims about the time and origin of Zoroaster and some claims date Zoroaster back to as early as around 10000 years ago while the more accepted version is about 3800 years ago. If I remember correctly, Ferdowsi has mentioned about meeting between Zoroaster and Kay-Ghobad of Kianian dynasty and there are stories of important Zoroastrian temples in different parts of Persian empire in that timeline which is beyond known historical records.
