Stalin passed away in March of 1953 and shah left the country in August of 1953, almost 5 or 6 months after this picture. Soviet had big influence in Iran throught Tudeh communist party in those days, as we see in this picture. This photo is a good proof for people who keep talking about Mossadeq. This picture is strong document that if it was not uprising of patriotic of Iranians on streets back up by U.S, Iranians would have speaking Russian right now. Thanks for the photo.
