'Pathetic Ass Kissing': Critics Slam Trump's Bizarre 'Nobel Peace Prize' Moment

By Ed Mazza

Huffington Post: Critics are calling out President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for an unexpected scene at the White House on Monday.

Netanyahu, who has been accused of war crimes for the military assault on Gaza following Hamas’s 2023 terrorist attacks in Israel, said he nominated Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize.

He presented Trump with the letter he said he sent to the committee, saying the nomination is “well-deserved.”

“Coming from you in particular this is very meaningful,” said Trump, who recently launched airstrikes on Iran, then helped to broker a ceasefire between Iran and Israel.

Trump has for years complained about not receiving a Nobel Peace Prize, last month saying he should have had “four or five” of them by now.

“They won’t give me a Nobel Peace Prize because they only give it to liberals,” he said.

He’s also frequently griped about President Barack Obama getting the award in 2009.

“I’m just saying that there’s a lot of unfairness in this world,” he said last year.

Critics of both men called out the move ― and many noted that Netanyahu is likely simply playing Trump, given his well-known propensity for being susceptible to flattery.
