The Beit [Palace] of Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader, has issued the following statement, which was read by a somber looking male presenter on the nationwide television network in Iran:

Effective immediately on this First Day of April, all the powers and responsibilities bestowed on the Supreme Leader by the sacred constitution is transferred to Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei.

The heads of expediency,  Guardian and Consultative Councils have all issued statements affirming the power transfer.

Airtight sanctions - which includes oil - a la against the despicable South Africa apartheid, works. U.S. lawmakers get to it.
