The question every Iranian has to ask themselves now is the perennial, "Are we better off...?"

By my very amateurishly unscientific estimates, even if Reza Pahlavi became twice the puppet dictator that his father allegedly was, Iranians living in Iran would be 1,000 times personally safer, and 10,000 times more prosperous and financially secure, than they have been at ANY TIME DURING THE PAST 48 YEARS!

If we "do the math" on the cost of "selling out" and admit to the admittedly self serving US and Israeli intentions, it is still ridiculously affordable given the human, psychological, and really painfully deadly (did I mention painful?) costs that the Islamic Republic has meticulously, and in too many cases, deliciously exacted upon the Iranian people.

Just to emphasize the point here: The biggest enemy and threat to the survival of the Iranian people has been the Islamic Republic. To put it another way, the biggest safety threat, the largest environmental disaster, and the deadliest attack on the Iranian people in their LONG History, has come at the hands of the Islamic Republic.

More Iranians have been killed and systematically raped and pillaged by the Islamic Republic than the Mongolian invasion and Genghis Khan.

Add to this:

I have personally seen Islamic Republic animals enjoy hurting Iranians. I have never seen Reza Pahlavi hurt anyone. Iranian or otherwise.

In fact, my childish calculations also show that easily one half of all Iranians who have fled the horrific conditions under the Islamic Republic to seek their freedom and fortunes abroad, would return to Iran. Bringing with them half of the estimated $7 Billion in Iranian overseas wealth, or as much as $4 Billion dollars, which would significantly kick-start turbo-boost speed-up significant momentum towards Iran's economic revival.

So, if the choice is between A) being under the thumb of US and Israel and even if Reza Pahlavi somehow became their puppet, and twice as (allegedly) ruthless as his father (was he really that bad?), and B) the continued proven case made over 48 years of Mullacrazy, as an expat Iranian with a not unsubstantial pile of dollars to bring home, I'm going to have to go with option A.

There is of course always an option C. But that option is not anywhere near being on the table at this particular time.

Respectfully. IMHO.
