Dear Mr. President Biden,
As an Iranian American citizen concerned about the ongoing violations of Human Rights in Iran; we respectfully urge you to stand up for the Human Rights and Democratic values you believe in, in any negotiation with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
For over four decades; the Islamic Republic of Iran has been continuously and aggressively oppressing peaceful demonstrations, detaining, imprisonment, and execution of the human rights defenders, civil societies, and women’s rights activists.
The Islamic Republic’s disregard for the international Human Rights conventions has resulted in numerous condemnations by the United Nations’ Human Rights Council and the Amnesty international.
In support of Human Rights and for the strengthening of democratic ideas and values, we ask you to condemn the Islamic Republic of Iran for the ongoing kidnapping, torturing, and murdering of thousands of the protesters and defenders of human rights and to hold the Islamic regime accountable for violating the basic human rights.
People in Iran are trapped in oppression and poverty imposed by a corrupt and totalitarian regime. They have clearly said “No” to the Islamic Republic of Iran. The people of Iran are struggling for freedom and democracy. They are striving for a secular and democratic regime in peace and friendly relationship with all other countries including their neighboring countries.
We urge you to please support the Iranian people in their fights for Democracy and Human Rights which are the most important fights of all.

آقای جوزف بایدن، ریاست جمهور ایالات متحده آمریکا،
به عنوان یک آمریکایی ایرانی تبار که نگران نقض حقوق بشر در ایران هستم، خواستار توجه عاجلانه شما در هر مذاکره ای با دولت ایران به نقض حقوق بشر از طرف جمهوری اسلامی هستیم، خواهشمندیم که التزام به رعایت حداقل مبانی حقوق بشر از طرف دولت ایران را پیش شرط هر برنامه مذاکراتی قرار دهید.
جمهوری اسلامی ایران، بیش از چهار دهه است که بطور مستمر، سیستماتیک و گسترده، تظاهرات آرام مردم را بشدت سرکوب کرده، و مدافعان حقوق بشر، کنشگران حقوق مدنی، فعالان حقوق زنان، و نویسندگان و روزنامه نگاران را دستگیر و زندانی کرده است. عدم رعایت کنوانسیون های بین المللی حقوق بشر باعث شده است که شورای حقوق بشر سازمان ملل متحد تعداد بیشماری قطعنامه در محکومیت سیاست های رژیم جمهوری اسلامی ایران صادر کند.
در حمایت از حقوق بشر و محکم کردن پایه های دموکراسی، ما از شما میخواهیم که رژیم ایران را بخاطر همه آدم ربائی ها، شکنجه ها و کشتار هزاران تظاهرکننده و مدافعان حقوق بشر محکوم کرده و به مردم ایران برای جلوگیری از این جنایت ها یاری رسانده و رژیم اسلامی را برای نقض حقوق بشر پاسخگو کنید.
مردم در ایران برای آزادی مبارزه میکنند و در چنبره سرکوب و فقر که توسط رژیم تمامیت خواه و فاسد بر آنها اعمال میشود گرفتارند. آنها خواستار روابط صلح آمیز با دیگر کشورها در خاورمیانه و در جهان هستند. مردم ایران آشکارا گفته اند که رژیم جمهوری اسلامی را نمیخواهند.
ما از شما میخواهیم از مبارزات مردم ایران برای دموکراسی و حقوق بشر که اصلی ترین مبارزه یک ملت است، پشتیبانی خود را دریغ نکنید.
