Scientific future might not be as bright as you imagine it to be.
I know who he is (was). GMO is but one example (viewed as negetaive) in how science might negatively affect us.
So scientific future is not as bright as one might think....just imagine what a future ful of theocratical aspirations holds for us humans!

Big science, big bussines and big government means trouble.
There are many similarities between an absolute and fixed faith in religion, and an absolute and fixed faith in science. Fayerabend in not against science, or anti-science, he made his living as a philosopher of science.
What Feyerabend calls for is a notion of Free Science. Free from big bussines, big government and free from any blind dogmatic faith. His argument in basically based on Kuhn's "The structure of scientific revolutions," and notion of Paradigm shift. This is very similar to Gaston Bachelard's notion of Epistemic change. What all these views (Feyerabend, Kuhn, Bachelard) have in common is an emphasis on the evolving nature of science.
