Dr. Parsi - who was 5 years old at the time of the Revolution of 1979 and who has known nothing but the Islamic Republic in his lifetime and whilst living abroad - seems to have forgotten or ignores that this great feat of achievement was made possible through intense diplomacy and under the statesmanship of such high profile political figures as the prime minister Ahmad Qavam and Iran's UN ambassador Hossein Ala , not to forget the Shah's direct presence as the supreme commander of the imperial army. The entire red army together with their local lackeys were driven out of Azerbaijan without a single shot being fired.
