Petition for the Unconditional Release of Women Human Rights Defenders in Iran

We call on the Islamic Republic of Iran to immediately release three brave women — Pakhshan Azizi, Verisheh Moradi, and Sharifeh Mohammadi — unjustly sentenced to death in Iran. Their only "crime" was standing up for justice.

Pakhshan, a humanitarian and social worker, has been arrested, tortured, and falsely accused of terrorism. Verisheh, a political activist, endured five months of solitary confinement before being sentenced to death. Sharifeh, a dedicated labor rights defender, faced a second death sentence after her initial one was overturned. Their cases reflect Iran’s systematic crackdown on women’s rights and free expression.

We call on Iran to immediately and unconditionally release these women, repeal repressive death penalty laws, and uphold its international human rights obligations >>> Sign
