Never understood the hype with Dubai. Bunch of tall buildings in a misrabely hot climate in the friggin a-rabian penninsula - it was 108 degrees (42 C) in mid May befrfoe noon when I was there last (for business). It is good if you're a saudi man with a hard-on and lots of money as light-skinned Eatern European and Russian hookers are ther to be had..............or, if you live in the paradise of islamist republic where making a trip to Dubai can be the highlight of your year...or decade.

I agree. Dubai is over-rated. I just visited there. I was not impressed. Any monkey can now build a gleaming skyscraper.
