If you look at the problem logically (and with a bit of humor), there are only 3 ways Iran can become Free of the Marxist Fascism masking as an Islamic Republic. Each of these options has Pros and Cons. None of these options are perfect. All of them come with a huge cost.

But more importantly this is now where we are.

OPTION 1) The people can simply rise up.

OPTION 2) The US can do (another) Regime Change.

OPTION 3) (Rich) Iranians abroad can fund Private For-Hire Regime Change.

Option 1) is out because the Islamic Republic is simply too brutal and too powerful and the cost in Iranian blood has been now determined to be too high. We clearly do not want to die for Freedom. Which is not as selfish as it sounds.

Option 2) has be understood by everyone now, to be historically unreliable. But it is nevertheless sort of on the table. However, as time goes forward, it increasingly appears that Trump is more interested in a Trump-Branded Iran Deal, in order to erase the previously well liked Obama-Branded Iran Deal. Did I mention Trump hates ALL THINGS Obama?

And even though they are collectively morons, Trump's advisors aren't completely stupid enough to ignore the very clear (80%?) of Americans who DO NOT want the US to go to war with Iran. Especially the heat is on now NOT to go to war, with the apparently already disastrous mid-term elections coming up, that according to Mike Johnson the partisan Trump-loving speaker of the US House of Representatives, will all but destroy the Trump presidency.

That leaves Option 3) Or what I will now call "Operation: Self Service". According to AI now, there are between 4 and 5 million Iranians living outside of Iran. They are by ALL accounts one of the most successful "displaced diaspora" in the world. With an estimated net worth of over $1.3 Trillion.

By my notes taken during watching lots of Netflix mercenary commando shows, a successfully planned high-end mercenary force that can topple the regime, should cost no more than $100 Million. 

Divided by 5 million, that's barely a $20 per Iranian donation to gain crowd-funded, fashion-label, top-shelf Self Service freedom.

There are no less than 10 Iranian Billionaires who readily, regularly, and routinely profess their love for Iran, and credit their childhood in Iran, their Iranian mothers, fathers, uncles and aunts, and always their usually blonde American second wives, for their unbelievably successful success in the West.

These "Patriots" could collectively donate $10 Million each, without breaking a Ghormeh-Sabzi sweat. And could probably figure out how to write it off their already low taxes.

So there you have it. These are our options. No?
