Hundreds of thousands of families have been relying on the daily meals received from the WFP and community kitchens across Gaza.

It’s hard to imagine how this large number of people – already displaced and traumatised with scars of war – are going to get by in the coming days.

People are hungry. They’re already rationing supplies. It’s not just the organisations, it’s also families running out of supplies. They don’t have any necessities.

Close to 450,000 newly displaced people are on the verge of famine due to the lack of food. Fifty-three days now – that’s how long the Israeli blockade has been going on, with zero entry of food, medicine, water or fuel to keep bakeries and other vital facilities running.
