The US has repeatedly interfered in Iran setting up and then changing regimes, not the once in 1953 everyone thinks they know, but 4 times since WWII!
1st Regime Change: In 1941 the US and Britain invaded and occupied Iran and removed Reza Shah from power to secure Iran’s oil from the Nazis, give it to the British, and feed the war effort.
2nd Regime Change: A month after removing Reza Shah from power, his son Mohammad Reza Shah was placed in power.
3rd Regime Change: in 1953 the US removed Mossadegh from power and reinstated the Shah.
4th Regime Change: The US stood down the Iranian Military's plans to put down Khomeini's revolt, and refused to grant the Shah medical emergency treatment (that pretty much caused his death).
Then the US let the wound they caused define and refine Islamic Extremism, take Americans hostage for 444 days, and fester for 47 years.
This Islamic infection spread, inspiring Sunni (per)versions of the NEW but unimproved Islamic Republic by Osama Bin Laden and Al Qaeda to attack the US. It continued spreading by inspiring Sunni dreams of restoring a magically pernicious Islamic Caliphate by ISIS. Hundreds of splinter proxy groups each with increasingly disturbing, violent tendencies.
All throughout this US abdication of responsibility for the monster it created, the biggest irresponsibility, almost as if to encourage them, Islamic Iran was allowed to build not just nukes, but an arsenal of North Korean modified missiles to go with it, and it's own "ultimate suicide bomber", inspired (by capturing US drones) new and improved Islamic drones. Literal flying Mopeds of destruction.
Finally, Iran planned, supplied, ordered, and directed it's worst proxy Hamas, to attack Israel.
Is that enough? Or should we just keep letting the monster WE CREATED keep on keeping on?
Is this some sick Christian apocalyptic Armageddon end of days fantasy?
I don't know. All I know is the people suffering the most from this stunningly gross failure of US foreign policy, are not Israelis, or anyone else caught in the crossfire of Al-Qaeda, or ISIS, or proxy bombings, European on-time-bus knifings, and willy-nilly-killing of anti-Muslim cartoonists across the globe.
More than Israelis and Americans, the Islamic Republic OVERWHELMINGLY hates IRANIAN PEOPLE. Allowing there Islamic Republic 47 years of essentially unvaccinated viral load, was a HUGE mistake, that clearly chanted for the death of America every Friday night, while condemning the freedom and US loving GOOD Iranian people to a constant never ending horror show of deaths.
Over 250,000 of the best Iranians, possibly including many or all the greatest future leaders of Iran, have now been systematically murdered by the Islamic Republic since 1979, when Iran was cursed by this literally never ending dark force of constant insistent evil.
Just to be clear, they flew in and ordered special foreign mercenaries specifically to kill thousands of Iranian protesters.
The US has interfered in Iran 4 times. It owes it to the Iranian people to finish this a 5th and final time.
Hopefully what is left of the Iranian people are undamaged enough, physically and emotionally unscarred enough, psychologically resilient enough to shed their Stockholm Syndrome, to figure out how to get a Democracy out of it, for themselves, for once, this time.
Not that the US help in the past has been nothing but a curse to the Iranian people, despite the repeated consistently spiteful betrayals by the US, nevertheless, for some literally God-forsaken reason, the people of Iran still manage to love the US. No, seriously, you don’t know, Dude. They LOVE THE US!
To return that love the least the US can do now, is continue bombing the hell out the illegitimate leadership, that above all else despises Iranians. There's a lot of illegitimate leadership to bomb. So it's going to take a while. But hopefully the collapse of the Islamic Republic and all the evil it has inspired, will end, and then the US can leave well enough alone in Iran. For once.
Any day now. Hurry. Please. And Thank You.
