"In the early hours of this morning the Israeli occupation forces, consisting of a troop of around 12 persons consisting of army and secret service, stormed my son’s house after breaking the gate at the entrance of the compound in which we all live, so as to arrest his younger son Shadi Khoury, a sixteen-year-old child, a student at the Quakers Friends School in Ramallah. They beat him until he was bleeding all over the room and along the path on the way out of the house dragging him barefoot and blindfolded not allowing the parents to see where the blood was coming from. Shadi was taken to the interrogation section in the police compound called “the Russian compound”
Shadi, a child, is being “interrogated” without the presence of his parents or a lawyer, a tactic used systematically to terrorize children into submission, and ultimately using their own words to incriminate them.
Shadi is a case among so many Palestinian children that are being harassed, tortured and imprisoned for no reason other than being a Palestinian seeking to live in dignity and freedom in their own country.
As an 89-year-old grandmother who has lived through the Nakba, the 1967 war, the first and second intifadas, I continue to ask you my friends: “Until when will this grave injustice go on?” Because you care for human rights, and the rights of children, I am asking you to take action now and contact your parliament or congress representative, to put an end to these grave injustices especially against our children as well as our whole population living under a brutal military occupation. Shadi should not be sleeping in a prison cell. He is a child and should be home with his family."

Palestinian have to live in peace with their neighbor Israeli, instead of fighting them. I personally would have welcomed people who survived tragedy of holocaust. That was the darkest chapter of human history. 6 million jews were burned in owens in concentration camp and the remaining people were got shot and killed when they wanted to return to their homeland in Europe. Finally, British found a soloution to relocate holoaust survived people to Israel. If I was living in that era, I would have embraced them with open arms. That is called "humanity". Palestinians have no clue of humanity and started to fight with them from day one. The above scenario happens when Palestinians are intolerance of jews living next to them. TOLERANCE is key word.
Thanks for compliment about my wisdom but I would rather my humanity was in spotlight than my wisdom.
Yes, Those Palestinians don't fight for land, they fight for hate.
First we have to know they were guests in that land , the same as Jews. The host was British. Palestinians didn't own the land. They were nomadic tribes who were moving around in that land. The owner of land was Ottoman Empire before WWI. British was new owners of the land after WWI. British defeated Ottoman Empire in 1917 and occupied the country from 1917 till 1923. It is false claim that Palestinians were owners of the land. Palestinian did NOT have problem with British back then. They never claimed the land or fought with British. They were living under British roles and they were happy till 1948. When WWII ended and tragedy of holocaust happened. 6 million jews were burned in the owens. That hurts the heart of any decent human being. British decided to settle those who survived holocaust in their land next to Palestinians. That was British land for 31 years. However, many jews did not want to go to Israel. They wanted to go back to their motherland in Europe. At least 46 of them went to Poland and they got shot and killed in cold blood. Immigration for jews was necessay, For many jews, immigration to Israel was not out of their choice, they had to do it to survive. They went to Israel and built the most modern, advance and democratic country in the region. On the other hand, Arabs had zero tolerance for jews because Arabs were muslims and started to fight with new comers since day one. If Palestinian had as much wisdom as I have, there would not be a war, unfortunately they don't have enough I.Q to live in peace with their neighbor.
