On Canada's Radio and Television network Crown Prince Reza shed tears for Kurdish Iranian Mahsa Amini cruelly killed by the Islamic Republic's morality police.

Such genuine tears were also shed during a press conference in Washington shortly after the 2009 uprisings in Iran during which another girl victim Neda was killed during a demonstration. But what about "leadership" ?

In the below photo dated back to the 1980's in French Magazine Paris Match the Crown Prince of Iran once considered himself as the "legitimate heir" to the peacock throne, vowing to succeed his late father the Shah of Iran.

Now he claims according to the above Canadian tv report that he has no wish to restore the monarchy. Yet in the recent past he claimed that the choice of restoring or not the monarchy will depend on a referedum once the IRI is toppled.

Those days are long gone given the Prince's low profile engagement is of no benefit in the struggle consisting of fighting and ultimately toppling a regime which is so unpopular with the Iranian Diaspora but also inside Iran.

The problem with the former Crown Prince is his contradictory approach.

Promising one thing on Iranian Diaspora TV where he is adressed as "Shahzadeh (Crown Prince) and another where he insists on being addresed merely as "Mr. Pahlavi on western media networks.

Fine then ...

The irony is that his "royal highness" knows that Canada is a constitutional Monarchy with as head of state the current King Charles III. Sadly the Crown Prince of Persia/Iran doesn't even remind the reporters of the Canadian Radio/ TV that his own parents made a Royal (not republican) visit to Canada in 1965.

So what is so shameful to be an heir to a throne ?

But what's the point of reminding what the Crown Prince already knows but doesn't wish to comment on.

So since the dreams of restoring the monarchy have gone down the drain (largely due to the Crown Prince's own actions and speaches and disatrous interviews) what is the option ?

Maybe one has to recommend his "Royal Highness" that if he wants to be the next Vaclav Havel or Lech Walesa ... tears alone will result to nothing.

It's time to stop sobbing and against all odds show an intention and will to Lead.

Respectfully
