I traveled to Poland (Warsaw) to attend a music festival (Chopin and his Europe).
I am posting some photos of Lazienki Park (Chopin Statue) and a famous church called Holy Cross Church specially for you.
Frédéric Chopin (Polish composer and virtuoso pianist of the Romantic era) just before he died he asked that his heart be removed from his body and returned to his beloved homeland. Was deposited in the Church of the Holy Cross in Warsaw, in the heart of the city, under a pillar bearing the inscription Bible: "Where your treasure is, there your heart.''
The Chopin Statue (It was designed in 1907 by Waclaw Szymanowski) is a large bronze statue of Frédéric Chopin That now stands in the upper part of Warsaw's Royal Baths Park aka Lazienki Park.
