Israeli air strikes have killed more than 25 Palestinians across Gaza since early on Sunday-- most of them in the southern city of Khan Younis. Residential buildings and makeshift tents sheltering forcibly displaced families have not been spared. Rescuers are searching through the rubble in the hopes of finding survivors.

In northern Gaza, the military is shelling the Shujayeah neighborhood for the third day. The UN agency for Palestinian refugees says Israel's war has displaced 90% of Gaza's population.
